The Minimalism of Tomorrow
zine, 80gsm water soluble paper, 22 x 28cm
The 45-page zine investigates how Minimalism, once a liberal art movement, evolved into today’s media-driven and omnipresent branding system. Printed on water-soluble paper, the zine focuses on the interactive user experience, drawing back to the often-overlooked intentions of the original artists in 1960s US and its spiritual roots. ‘The Minimalism of Tomorrow’ is a research-based design project and a prompt to question contemporary perspectives (and my own favouritism of this style) shaped by capitalism and media.
