exhibition identity, branding concept, spatial branding, print materials
For the Postgraduate Showcase Show Two: Design at London College of Communication, we developed the branding concept and designed all branding assets and print materials of the exhibition. One After The Next summarises the showcase of the next generation of art directors graduated in December 2024. Staying in line with the overall branding concept of the design show by Berlin-based Plus Minus Studio, we developed a visual identity to frame the 58 diverse works of the Design for Art Direction cohort 2023/24 highlighting the themes of continuity and progression. One After The Next manifests connectivity across disciplines,  the contextualisation of design informed by the past, speculating futures and influencing the Now. In a collaboration with Javier Barral, we developed this branding and print identity realised in a newspaper catalog and spatial branding assets all produced in-house at LCC – part of the University of the Arts London –, underlining the schools printing heritage.
 > caption: 'One After the Next‘ celebrates the creativity and critical insight of UAL’s latest MA Art Direction graduates. Curated by the students, this exhibition showcases designers who actively examine the socio-cultural impact of their work, each presenting their distinctive identity and positionality. At the core of their practice is a critical reflection on the past while addressing urgent contemporary issues such as climate change, new technologies, and social inequality. Through diverse mediums, ‘One After the Next’ affirms the power of design in shaping our world - reminding us that progress does not present itself in an instantaneous leap but through a series of thoughtful steps in one direction. Join us in celebrating new expressions of creativity as our graduating students set futures in motion, reflecting on both individual and collective growth in the face of today’s challenges.
